I decided to form a team for Komen Dallas Race for the Cure in honor of my colleagues and wonderful friends Ann Wallace, Gaye Ogletree, Jeannine Hayes and Melanie Parsons.

These four educators were diagnosed with breast cancer in the last six months. Please join me Saturday, October 17th (yes, TX/OU) to celebrate the fact that all four of these amazing women are cancer-free.

We are participating in this great event because we believe in the work that Susan G. Komen for the Cure does and want to be part of it.

We all know someone who has been affected by cancer in one way or another and we know that cancer certainly doesn't discriminate. Won't you please support us in our efforts?
